On the date 22 January 2025,
All new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 Series of Graphic cards has been launched and will be available to purchase in market on date 30th January
As always CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang did very big claims new RTX 5070 will be better then RTX 4090 as well it will cost less then half of cost of it as well
Currently before launch of the new RTX 5000 series graphic card people already saying it’s a false/fake performance claims and many debates are going over internet
So the question is who’s claims are Right?

As per the theoretical Specification of Graphic card model seen above we can say the claim done by NVIDIA CEO was wrong, but actually it’s not totally wrong
Considering the new feature they have introduce as:
- DLSS 4
- Super Resolution
- DLAA
- Ray Reconstruction
- Frame Generation
- Multi Frame Generation
- Reflex 2
- Low Latency Mode
- Frame Warp
Which is actually capable of upto generate 3 AI generated frames which basically can make your game to have 3x more frames to make and look it more smooth
Now come to people who are saying its Fake Claims
People are also right at there perspective as mostly everyone play Battle Royal games and expect better performance for those games but this AI based generated frame might not be playable for Battle Royal games, This AI based frame generation will help for the single player story mode games most probably
Finally The most important Question now is should you Upgrade your Graphic Card to 5000 series or not
When you should Upgrade to 5000 Series Graphic card | When you should NOT Upgrade to 5000 Series Graphic card |
if you have 3000 or below series Graphic card | if you have 4000 series graphic card |
if you playing story mode kind of games & want to get best FPS possible | if you playing battle royal (FPS) games |
4K resolution gaming with 144 or high refresh rate | 1440p(2k) or 1080p gaming |
One major thing while upgrading your Graphic card you have to keep in mind that the new 5000 series graphic card are based on PCIE 5 gen so if your Processor and motherboard support PCIE 5 gen then only upgrade to new 5000 series otherwise you will not see much deference compare to existing graphic card
All the above details are more over assumption, actual outcome could be deferent as well, after the launch and when proper benchmark of users comes only exact details can be out
